The Private Flyer's Journal

PFJ, the Private Flyer's Journal, is a log book, diary and photograph album for recreational pilots of all kinds. Whether you fly, aeroplanes, helicopters, microlights, gliders, hang-gliders, paragliders, paramotors or balloons, PFJ is for you.

Your log book just records the basic information about your flights - where you flew from and to, on what date and time, in which aircraft, and so on. PFJ will record all of these things for you but it will also allow you to keep detailed notes and photographs of each flight you make, aircraft you fly (or fly in), airfield you visit, person you fly with, and so on. It will also hold full details of any other aviation related events that you might wish to record. You can view or print the information held. Summaries and detailed reports of hours you have accumulated can be printed or exported for use in spreadsheets, databases or other aviation software.

Please note that PFJ is intended to supplement, not replace, your pilot's log book.

PFJ is great for non-pilots as well. You can keep a full record, with photographs, of your visits to air-shows and fly-ins and you can, of course, record details of your flights as a passenger, including the hours you have flown in each aircraft and type.

PFJ runs on Microsoft Windows.
